15 Healthy Juicing Recipes

I’ll just give it to you straight: THIS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. These recipes help regulate blood sugar and lower cholesterol, and they are basically a nutritional powerhouse in a glass.

You absorb more nutrients, you control the sugar, and you get to sneak in a bunch of greens. It is the ultimate hack for busy mornings when you just need to toss everything in and run.

1. Strawberry Apple Lime Juice

As soon as they are in season, I am racing to the local farmer’s market to stock up on strawberries. They freeze so beautifully, and they taste incredible if you catch them while they are still ripe.

If you have ever baked with strawberries, you know they are absolutely bursting with juice. A little goes a long way here.

While I could drink pure strawberry juice with ease, I really prefer it balanced out with some tart apple and zesty lime.

2. Super-Powered Orange Juice

If you love to start your day with orange juice, shouldn’t it be super-powered?

We are starting with carrots, which help with eyesight and relieve congestion. Then, obviously, there is a ton of fresh orange juice in the mix.

But we aren’t stopping there—this recipe also includes nectarines, apple, lemon juice, and ginger. That citrus hit really brings it to life, and I love the spicy kick from the ginger.

You can even make this without a juicer using a high-powered blender. Just blitz it for ten seconds at a time to keep the machine cool.

Once it is smooth, pass it through a cheesecloth or a clean tea towel.

3. Tropical Pineapple Orange Mango Juice

This is the kind of morning juice that feels like a vacation. Can’t you just picture the beach, the waves, and a morning swim before relaxing on a sunbed?

As the name says, this uses pineapple, oranges, and mango. There are no greens and no added sugar. The pineapple is tart and juicy, playing well with the super sweet and vibrant mango.

Finally, that citrus hit from the orange is the perfect way to finish it off. Just picture it with a splash of rum… in the afternoon, of course!

4. Naturally Sweet Green Detox Juice

My biggest issue with green juice is that it is often not sweet enough. I know it is supposed to be healthy, but my sweet tooth is just too strong to ignore!

If you feel the same, try using the sweetest apples you can find. I like Fuji or Gala, and Honeycrisp is really great for juicing.

You will want to avoid Granny Smiths if you don’t want it too tart. I also found that adding a handful of grapes helps bring out a fruitier flavor.

5. Carrot Juice Recipe with Orange & Ginger

Carrots are naturally sweet, making them the perfect ingredient for juicing. The less sugar you have to add, the better.

This recipe is bursting with vitamin C from the orange. And let’s not forget the antioxidants in the ginger. It is the perfect juice to drink if you think you might be getting sick.

Fresh ginger is best, but I know it can be a pain to peel. I suggest peeling a big batch at once (maybe in front of the TV!) and freezing it for later.

6. Plum Juice

Plums are little stone fruits that can be deep purple or bright yellow. More often than not, the skin is tart while the flesh is juicy and sweet.

I love baking with plums for the color and flavor, but I had never made plum juice before!

Since prunes are made from plums, it is no surprise that plum juice helps with constipation. It is also great for lowering cholesterol.

This isn’t just plum juice, though. We want to boost those vitamins wherever possible!

So, you add beets, carrots, ginger, and lemon. The beets give this such a gorgeous pink color, while the ginger and lemon provide freshness.

7. Turmeric Ginger C Boost Life Juice

Turmeric is typically used as a spice in Indian cooking, bringing earthy, peppery notes and a slightly bitter aftertaste.

It is also yellow and turns your food a lovely sunny color. The root looks like ginger, only the flesh is orange rather than yellow.

Like many ingredients on this list, turmeric is known for anti-inflammatory and antioxidant elements. Because of this, it is used to help with arthritis.

To make this super juice, you process apples, oranges, lemon, and ginger through your juicer. If you use turmeric root (which is rare in the states), process it just like the ginger.

Otherwise, stir powdered turmeric into the juice before serving.

8. Green Juice Recipe

Green juice is all the rage right now, and for good reason.

‘Greens’ are a great source of fiber, antioxidants, minerals, folate, Vitamin C, and potassium. They help reduce inflammation, build up the immune system, and are even good for your skin.

Of course, what you get depends on what you put in. Green juices with spinach or kale are trendy, and celery is a good choice too.

Just play around with ingredients until you find something that tastes good to you.

9. Refreshing Celery & Cucumber Juice

Celery is kind of an anomaly. It is earthy and pretty bitter, but at the same time, very mild and watery.

You can chop it up as a source of crunch without overpowering other ingredients. Like cucumbers, celery is an excellent source of hydration, which is why you see it in so many green juices.

Here, it is paired with cucumber for maximum hydration, along with apple and lemon for a tart, fresh finish.

10. Pineapple Juice

If you have had enough daily orange juice, why not switch things up with this super easy pineapple juice? It is bright, sweet, slightly tart, super fruity, and ready in just ten minutes.

Pineapple has many benefits, including anti-inflammatory properties, immunity boosting, and detoxing.

But did you hear it is also good for pain relief? If you have been on TikTok recently, I am sure you saw stories about drinking pineapple juice to reduce pain and swelling after wisdom teeth removal.

I don’t know how true it is, but it couldn’t hurt to try!

11. Beetroot Juice

If you are not a beetroot lover, go ahead and skip this recipe because no amount of citrus or apple can mask that earthy taste.

But if you enjoy beetroot, I think you will really love this bright and sweet juice.

The best part is that you don’t need to cook the beetroot before juicing. Instead, just add it to your machine with apple, carrot, celery, and ginger, and let it work its magic.

12. Cucumber Detox Juice

Believe it or not, cucumbers are super nutritious. I know they taste a little bland and are mostly water, but these green stalks do more than you think.

You get vitamin C, vitamin K, magnesium, potassium, and manganese, plus tons of antioxidants.

They help keep you hydrated and are a high source of fiber. Just add mint and lemon, and you are good to go.

13. Cleansing Cucumber Pineapple Juice

This combination of fresh pineapple, celery, and cucumber is such a healthy way to start the day. It is great for detoxing, weight loss, and a significant energy boost first thing in the morning.

The recipe calls for flaxseeds and chia seeds, which are full of omega-3 fatty acids, plenty of fiber, and oodles of antioxidants.

I promise you won’t notice the seeds once everything is blended together!

14. Peach Juice Recipe

Peaches are another bright, sweet, juicy fruit you should try to hoard over the summer. If you peel, chop, and freeze them while they are still fragrant, you can make delicious peach recipes year-round.

Did you know peaches come in three varieties? You get clingstone, semi-freestone, and freestone.

The first is the sweetest, but the pit is hard to remove. Freestone is easy to work with but not as sweet.

That means you should buy semi-freestone whenever possible. They are wonderfully sweet, and the pit comes away nice and easy.

15. Pear Juice

Like apples, pears range from tart to sweet, depending on how ripe they are. I find pears sweeter, though I am not always a fan of the texture. That is why I prefer them juiced!

With pear juice, you get all the nutrients and deliciousness without worrying if it is mushy.

Asian pears give you the most juice, but they aren’t always available. Try adding a little apple to the mix to help bulk it out.

16. Pineapple and Kale Juice

Depending on who you ask, kale and spinach are better for you in different ways. Spinach is full of fiber, protein, vitamin A, calcium, and plenty of iron.

On the other hand, kale is jam-packed with anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic properties. Kale has a much stronger, astringent flavor. So, feel free to swap it for spinach if you want it less bitter.

I think kale works better with something slightly sweeter. But pineapple has a sourness that is more pronounced here, especially since the recipe also includes Swiss chard.

17. Carrot Orange Cantaloupe Juice

Although most melons have subtle tastes, cantaloupe has such a unique, sweet melon flavor.

Plus, melons are notoriously juicy! How many kids have you seen with messy faces after chomping on watermelon?

Cantaloupe is ideal here because it fits the orange coloring of the carrot and citrus. But honeydew would also provide lovely sweetness.
